Headquartered in Singapore, the Rendezvous Hospitality Group (RHG) has a senior management team of highly qualified industry leaders to implement the corporate direction of the hotel group at all levels of business.
Iqbal Jumabhoy - Chief Executive Officer
Appointed in March 2009, Mr Jumabhoy has experience across a broad range of industries, including banking, hospitality, real estate and corporate management. He has served on internationally listed company boards and was most recently Executive Vice President/Group Chief Financial Officer at The East Asiatic Company (EAC), a Danish corporation with operations in Asia and South America, responsible for finance, information systems, investor relations, restructuring and strategy. Mr Jumabhoy was named best CFO in Denmark in 2003 and 2005 by investors and analysts.
Previously, Mr Jumabhoy was Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of Scotts Holdings Ltd., a Singapore listed property development and management group, which is now one of the worlds' largest serviced apartment owners and operators under the Ascott brand.
Wong Lai Ping - Chief Financial Officer
Ms Wong oversees the Finance Team and is responsible for Group reporting, corporate finance and taxation as well as treasury functions providing strategic inputs to the business. Ms. Wong comes with more than 20 years of relevant financial experience, holding top management positions for the last 16 years in three public listed companies in Singapore.
Sean Flynn - Executive Vice President, Operations
Mr Flynn oversees the operations of all hotels in RHG as well as pre-opening, operational training and purchasing. Mr Flynn is a 27 year hospitality veteran, having held senior positions in the hotel, serviced apartment and restaurant franchise industries in Asia, Canada and the USA.
Woolsey McKernon - Senior Vice President, Property
Mr McKernon is responsible for managing all real estate-related projects within RHG, including owned, leased and managed hotels, ensuring that the brand and operational requirements are translated into the physical product. Mr McKernon uses his 20 years of experience in the real estate development and construction industries to spearhead a large capital works program envisioned for the Group's existing portfolio.
Michael Meade - Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing
An industry veteran, Mr Meade is responsible for driving brand development, sales, distribution, advertising, public relations and promotions for RHG. Mr Meade has held a number of senior positions with major hospitality brands, including Jing Jiang Hotels, the InterContinental Hotels Group, ITT Sheraton, SPHC and All Seasons Hotels. He has lived and worked in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia and China.
Patrick Sheehan - Senior Vice President, Human Resources
Mr Sheehan oversees the selection and development of RHG's people, innovative learning and talent management strategies as well as the growth of the dynamic corporate culture. Mr Sheehan brings more than 25 years experience in human resource management across several industries, including hospitality, professional services, retail and wholesale. He has worked in India, Saudi Arabia, China, Fiji and Australia.
Sudarshan Dhuru - Group Financial Controller
Mr Dhuru oversees controlling, consolidation, management reporting, planning and tax structuring for RHG. Mr Dhuru has 28 years in finance and has held senior positions in the manufacturing, IT and real estate industries across Asia and Europe.
Peter Tung - Senior Vice President, Pre-Opening
Responsible for the pre-opening operations of all new hotels, Mr Tung has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. His career spans senior appointments with international 5-star hotels and serviced apartments in China, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
Geoffrey Johnstone - Regional Vice President Operations, Australia and New Zealand
Mr Johnstone oversees the operations of all hotels within Australia and New Zealand. A 20 year veteran in hospitality, Mr Johnstone has held senior marketing and management positions with Starwood Hotel and Resorts, Le Meridien Moscow Country Cub and Le Meridien at Rialto Melbourne.
