RHG has a team of marketing and sales specialists who support the hotels in sales, promotions, public relations, advertising and yield management to drive hotel revenues and build brand strength.

Brand Advertising for Rendezvous Hotels and The Marque Hotels is undertaken in the most relevant online and print media to build awareness for the brand, strengthen the brand positioning and drive revenues for the hotels. All brand advertisements and printed promotional materials are developed in line with customer research and hotel brand positioning to ensure a relevant, consistent communication message is delivered to target audiences.

The RHG sales team operate within an effective key account management system, based on development and maintenance of strong relationships with the major corporate, government, travel and events clients and prospects. In addition, the RHG sales team participate in major international and regional trade shows and events, organise sales blitzes in key source markets and manage the contract negotiation process. The RHG sales team negotiate preferred partnership agreements for the major travel management companies and travel wholesalers. The strong working relationship between RHG and hotel sales teams enables valuable business opportunities to be pursued to maximise the delivery of revenues to hotels.

Effective public relations campaigns to specific target audiences are implemented to strengthen brand and hotel awareness on a local and regional basis. Expert guidance is provided to hotels for their communications requirements, including development and distribution of press releases, arranging media interviews, organising media visits, media protocols and crisis communications management.

RHG works closely with select airline, retail and credit card partners to participate in reward marketing programs. This enables us to identify new customers and develop brand loyalty with our existing clients. In addition, our own brand loyalty program – RewardMe - will be launched in July 2010, enabling Rendezvous and The Marque hotel guests to earn and redeem benefits at all hotels within the group.

RHG provides access to a broad range of distribution channels via call centre, global distribution systems and the web that drive revenues into system hotels. Through our partners, we provide our hotels with connectivity to more than 600,000 travel agents worldwide, with seamless display to Global Distribution Channels including Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus and Worldspan. Our E-Commerce technology platform includes exclusive brand websites and instantaneous booking confirmation for our guests and customers as well as connectivity with third party travel websites.
